Robert F Quinn

Robert F. Quinn ?Bobby?--57, A 23-year resident Tewksbury, formerly of Somerville where he was born and raised, passed away on October 4, 2015. Mr. Quinn was a firefighter and EMT for the City of Somerville.

Bobby was the beloved husband of 29 years to Monika A. (Rudowska) Quinn and the son of the late Walter and Mary Quinn. He was the brother and best friend of Jay Quinn and his wife Diane of Somerville, Michael Quinn of Tewksbury and the late Stephen Quinn. Bobby is also survived by his 3 devoted and loving dogs Bailey, Willow, and Sierra. He was also the dear uncle of Joey, Patrick, Katelyn, and Sydney. Bobby leaves behind many extended relatives and friends along with his beloved brothers of the Somerville Fire Department especially Rescue 1.

The funeral procession will be held from the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) in Somerville on Friday morning, October 9, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church in Somerville at 10:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends invited to attend Calling Hours on Thursday, October 8, 2015, from 2-8 p.m. Interment is private. A Uniform Member Walk-Through will commence at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Mr. Quinn was a Graduate of Malden Catholic High School, Class of 1976. He received his Bachelor's degree from U-Mass Boston in 1981 and was a 26-year veteran of the City of Somerville Fire Department. He loved his family and friends deeply and was also an advocate and lover of animals.
