Robert John Rainey

My Condolences and that of my family on Robert's passing. Although i did not know him or ever meet him and i've never even been to america, i l believe his father and my father were 1st cousins. We still live on the Rainey farm in Northern ireland where Robert's father was born in 1901 and my dad was also Robert Rainey as is my brother. Only this page today. Shame i hadn;t looked sooner. I worked with Bob many years ago at AMP. I also worked at Vanguard and knew he worked there but our buildings were not close to each other so, unfortunately, I didnt get to see him much. He was such a kind and friendly man who I respected greatly.

He always had a smile on his face and had a nice thing to say. He brightened your days at work. Sad to lose him but glad that he lived a long and fruitful life with so many experiences.

I worked in the same building as Mr. Rainey for a few years at Vanguard. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word. I aspire to be more like him. If we could all be a little more like Mr. Rainey, the world would surely be a better place.

I worked with Mr. Rainey at vanguard and his smile could light up a room. All who knew him respected him and we all called him Mr. Rainey .. as a sign of respect his Irish eyes were always smiling

RiP Mr Rainey. I cherished your wisdom and and laughs as a new hire @ Vanguard.
