I have fond memeries of Uncle Bob. Many sumers were spent at Russian River because he and Auntie Concha would bring me and my brother along to keep thier son Ed company. It was like an annual event for Uncle Bob to load us boys up in the carand off to Calistoga for Sprint Car Races. Back home he would do the same by way of the San Jose Raceway. If it were not for his love of auto racing the Indy 500 or any of the sport would have ment nothing to me.
