Not sure what to say?

Bob and I became good friends when I worked with him at SLCC several years ago. Sometimes people just find they have common interests and compatible temperaments. Friendships just happen, or they don't. We hit it off, had a lot of fun as colleagues, and did a lot of good work.

After I left SLCC, Bob and I continued to stay close by phone and e-mail -- with technology, you can be close even if you're far away. It was easy for us to have conversations any time we liked. We spoke...

Dear Rantz Family,

Bob is an amazing person and will not be forgotten. I have enjoyed working with him here at the College. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May you find peace and joy in your happy memories.

Dear Mary,

We were so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He was a wonderful man and he left many memories behind, whether they are from work, Orlando, or just a kind voice on the telephone. We want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary and Family,

Bob will never be forgotten. He was a good man and a great friend.

Chipmunk to gray squirrel, chipmunk to gray squirrel...

Come in gray squirrel...

I talked with Bob on a weekly basis over the last four years.

I'd often ask his advice because he'd always shoot straight.

I miss the feller, it sucks that he kicked over. Rantz ruled, he was a steller human being and I miss him.

My most sincere condolences to his family and to each of us that miss him.

Bob was a pard.

:(

I have worked with Bob at Salt Lake Community College for over 14 years. Everyone who worked with Bob knows how much he did for SLCC. Bob really enjoyed helping people. He was one of the smartest hardest working people I know. I learned so much from Bob over the years. What a pleasure it is to have him in my life. He is a great man and his stories of family and friends our endless. He was stubborn at times but that was Bob. He always kept in touch with as many friends and family as...

Dearest Mary & Family,
We are so heartbroken at Bob's passing, such a wonderful man! It is hard to believe that it has only been fourteen years since we moved next door, not only becoming neighbors but life long friends! I remember looking out the kitchen window one morning and seeing Bob on the roof of your house. Bob, not being a small man was attempting to fix the cooler. As I screeched at Dan to get out there and help before there was an accident, I also remember Bob assuring me he...
