Read MoreI am also from both Franklin High and Standard Insurance, 15+ years. I remember watching his appraisals on TV, and was hooked. I am a die hard fan of Antiques Road Show because of Bob. He was very engaging, and knowledgeable. Saw young Bob Rau's name in the Sunday paper, and the memories came flooding back. RIP Bob Go Quakers!!

I've been curator for the American Advertising Museum since 1996 and would often call Bob for verbal appraisals on new donations given to the museum.
