Not sure what to say?

I first knew Bobby at Chapman and Lincoln. I always enjoyed his great story telling and sense of humor. As everyone knows, Bobby was the toughest kid pound for pound at Wallace Park. Several years ago a mutual friend orgainized a lunch meeting with Bobby and some Lincoln guys. It was good to see him again. We were all very impressed with his success at Greenbrier.

I miss you Dad.

I knew Bobby from the 4th grade at Chapman and Lincoln. He was quite a presence. High energy, great wit and loved the outdoors. Lost track of him over time. I wish his family well.

Bobby's brother, Butch, and I were friends in high school. I knew Bobby as his little brother. Bobby was a tough kid and a great guy.
My deepest sympathy to his family.

Julie and family: We are so sorry to hear of your loss..Bob was a special man and our hearts ache for you guys..Just know that our thoughts love and prayers are with you at this very sad time. John and Billie Allison, Deak and Tatetum Allison and Michelle and Jeff Richmond .

My condolences go out to Bob's family. I remember Bob when Wendy and my daughter Andrea played softball at Glenwood. He gave so much of his time and energy to the team and was a great guy to be around. He made a difference in a lot of young lives and I just want to thank his family for his giving heart.

I worked with Bob when I started work at Gunderson doing Accounts Receivable for rail services. He always treated me with respect and humor. His kindness and generosity of spirit were greatly appreciated. I know he could be "somewhat difficult" to work with at times but we always worked our way through it. He will be missed.

Unfortunately, the memorial information is not apart of the paid notice but is in a different section of The Oregonian.

Bob Rea's life celebration memorial is August 24th at 1pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Lake Oswego. All who wish to join us in celebrating the life he had are more than welcome.

I knew Bobby back in the late 60's and early 70's. I had just recently found some old pictures of him in Vietnam and newspaper clippings he had sent me from there when I was going through some old things. He was very much in my thoughts lately. I always thought the world of Bobby and will have very fond memories of him. I think the last time I saw him he had just started dating Julie and I knew he was in love. All my sympathies go out to you Julie and your family. I know what a great...
