Not sure what to say?

Mr. Regester was the one and only high point of my life at Interboro (class of 1959). His influence was enormous. My love of French language began in his class; I had two years of French with him and went on for a B.A. in French and an M.A. in French literature. Most of my working life was connected to language and linguistics, and I attribute this to Mr. Regester's class, and the confidence he placed in me when few others would. He was a guiding light.

For the small amount of time that we knew Uncle Bob, we were able to share in his love. From our last meal at the Avondale Perkins, to him saying (as he and I looked out from his back deck) "I hope where I'm going is as nice as this." We're sure it is! Continued love to you, Uncle Bob.

There are certain kinds of people you meet in life that are truly extraordinary! Bob Regester was one. He served his country, he loved his family, he was a good friend and the ideal educator. "Gentleman" is a word used often to describe Bob - he was the epitome of a "gentle" man. We have missed Bob at our Brunches, and will continue to miss him . . .My deepest sympathy to Bob's family. Bob was a great help and advisor to me when I joined the Interboro faculty 1975. My prayers for Bob and his family members.

Mr. Regester was a favorite teacher of mine (Interboro class of 1963). He had an enormous influence on my life as I went on to teach French for 40 years. I loved his class and found my life's vocation there. He was a wonderful teacher whom I will never forget.

I first met Bob in September 1967 on my First Day of Teaching German at INTERBORO. He was the French Teacher and we were travelling between Buildings. This began a Life-Long Friendship of "Kindred Souls". We even had an earlier Connection in that my Maternal Grandparents once lived in the "Abraham Regester House" on the Edge of Ridley Creek State Park !! Our Friendship continued after Bob left the Foreign Language Department and began guiding Students onto College or Career Paths. Bob and a...

He was one of my favorite teachers 1966-1967. I was fond of his teaching methods and his obvious devotion to his students. I'm sorry to hear of the loss of a fine professional educator. My condolences to Mr. Regester's family.

My sincerest condolences to the Regester Family. May the God of all comfort (Psalms 83:18) help you during these difficult times.

Thank you sir for directing me into the right path for a bright future. May God bless you.
