Survived by sons, Leo and wife Teri, Jim and partner Tom Schreiner; grandsons, Nicholas and Michael Rehmann. Funeral service Wednesday 11 AM at Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel, off Hwy 5 and Hwy 55 at the Historic Fort Snelling site exit. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 6 to 8 PM at Gearty- Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 West Broadway, and 1/2 hour before service at Fort Snelling Chapel. No memorials preferred. Gearty-Delmore 763-537-4511

Our condolences to everyone. We know it is hard for you, but your mom and dad are together now and are never far away. The memories we have and will hold dear are of a beautiful, loving, couple who loved each other with an unselfish love as well as their family, and friends. Hold on to those memories and they will always be close. You had the best!

Leo, Teri and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of morning. From what I have read, not only was he a hero too our country, I am sure he is one in your eyes as well. The passing of a parent can be hard to cope with, but you must remember that you and your children have and will provide the greatest thing that anyone can ask, a legacy. Remember the times and the moments, cherish them and share them with those you love.
