Robert R. Reichenbach

Bob and Janet Reichenbach were an indispensable part of my boyhood: Janet with her warm feisty welcoming sanity and Bob for the wonders of his library. I'll always treasure the memory of his study heaped perilously high with books (I now seem to have an entire house that replicates it), and I still marvel as his openness and curiosity about what was going on in the world when his kids and I were growing up (no other father on our block, that I know of, bought Incredible String Band records)....

I worked with Bob for some years at ORC and also had the pleasure of meeting Janet. He was a thoughtful and intelligent colleague and a wonderful and supportive person who was great company. I am sorry to hear of his passing and send my condolences to his family.

I remember Bob from our days organizing soccer leagues in New Jersey. I always considered him a friend. Sorry to hear of his passing. He is one of the better people I have met during my journey through life. I wish his family well
