Not sure what to say?

I am so very sad to learn of my cousin's death. I send his family my sincerest condolences. My God grant all of you peace and comfort. He will be remembered in my prayers. Bob was special to me as a family member and wonderful police officer. He was always an inspiration to me. We also shared a very special bond as Marines. The memory of a very surprise encounter with Bob on a baren hill top in Vietnam so many years ago has always stuck with me. I pray God will grant him "Fair Winds and...

Dear Tracy and the entire Reilly Family,
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your dad. Although I never got to meet him in person I always enjoyed listening to his stories when he'd call the office. He would always manage to bring a smile to my face. Please find peace in knowing that he has joined your mom and they are both looking down upon you with love and pride.

My Condolences to the Reilly family for the loss of one very special individual my old boss .The world will be an emptier place without him .A long time ago I was at his cottage enjoying a beautiful sunset with him. His spirit is with us always

It's difficult to believe that the world won't have a Bob Reilly. He was all that was great about Chicago in one package. It was truly a special privilege to have served with Bob both in the Marines and the CPD for many, many years. The streets of heaven are definitely guarded by U.S. Marines now that Bob is their commanding officer. Smooth sailing and following seas.

Heartfelt and prayerful condolences from the Chicago Police Chaplains. Robert will be remembered at the Police Mass on Sunday, 22 MAR, 11:00 a.m. at Mercy Home - 1140 W. Jackson Blvd. In the meantime, may family and friends know the healing touch of our all-loving, all-merciful God! [Police Chaplains Ministry: or 312/738-7588]

My Deepest Condolences to the Reilly Family.
I worked for the Captain in the 5th Dist. as a Patrolman and in the 4th Dist. as a Sergeant.
In 1991, Capt. Reilly ordered me back to school. I graduated with a Master's from Lewis University in 1994.
I really enjoyed his stories and talking about the books he had read.
God Bless Him!!
