OLW Class of `79 - Mr. Rhinehart was my 7th and 8th grade science teacher, science fair leader, and volleyball coach. Fond memories and looking back in awe of his ability to corral and motivate a bunch of surly middle school kids!!

Rich and Pasty, Will always remember the great times I had with you all back in my days in Chicago and Eagle River. Bob was a GREAT Man and I will NEVER forget him. We are praying for you during this difficult time.

More than teaching his players how to jump into the air to block a volleyball or hit it over the net, Coach Rhinehart taught us the greater importance of always keeping our feet firmly grounded. Because of his teachings and living his life by example, we also learned how to live life humbly with kindness and therefore happily. He was a true inspiration. Mrs. Rhinehart and Father Rich, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May fond memories comfort you and help heal your grieving hearts....

1/5/22 Mrs. Rhinehart and Fr. Rich, Please accept my sincere condolences at the recent passing of your beloved Bob. He was my science, religion, and PE teacher at Wayside from '68-'71. After speaking to my brother Mike yesterday we both agreed that he was one of the best teachers we had had at any level. I remember him sponsoring Christmas caroling and Halloween parties for the 8th grade at Wayside along with his regular duties, always performing them with a smile. He was the...

My condolences go out the Rhinehart family. I have known Bob for about 35 years. I got to know him when he was coaching basketball at OLW and I was a basketball official, he was a super person to be associated with, always fair, always positive and a gentleman to say the least. After he stopped coaching I would often see him at games and was a pleasure to see and talk with him. God bless him.

Dear Patsy and Father Rich. We offer our sincerest prayers and condolences to the great life, memory, and legacy of Bob to Our Lady of the wayside and education. May he rest in peace. Sincerely. John and Elaine Clancy from Our Lady of the Wayside

Mr. Rhinehart has always been in my memory as my favorite OLW teacher. This photo is from Class of `73 graduation. My heartfelt sympathy to his family.

Sorry for your loss. I had Mr. Reinehart at Our Lady of the Wayside for 7th and 8th grade science. He was such a wonderful teacher and person.
