Robert F. Rice

Robert F. Rice, 87, of Martins Creek, PA passed away Sunday, October 9th, at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House, East Stroudsburg, PA.

Robert was born in Palmer Twp., PA on August 21, 1935, a son of the late Robert and Lila (Clewell) Rice.

He was the husband of the late Myrna R. Rice who passed away in 2018. Robert was a farmer and previously worked at Crayola in Forks Twp, for 20 years, as well as self-employed as a locksmith. He loved spending his time working on the farm and had a passion for tractors, especially his Farmall H. He also enjoyed playing his guitar.

He was an elder of the Roseto Congregation of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Bangor, PA.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Bickford, wife of Steve, and Ellen Getz, wife of Jared, three sons Kevin Rice, husband of Sarah, Leslie Rice, husband of Audra, and Jason Rice, husband of Natalie, a brother Charles Rice, and his beloved grandchildren Maria, Jason Jr., Sophia, Madison, Lila, and Micaiah. He was predeceased by 3 sisters.

Robert was lovingly taken care of by his daughter-in-law Natalie for the past two years, allowing him to live with his family whom he so dearly loved.
