Not sure what to say?

Dear Joyce and family,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I was checking for something regarding the opera and saw the obit on Bob. God bless you and I think about all of you often. Last time I spoke to both of you on the phone you all sounded like you were still in your 30s. Thanks for all you do for those whose hearts you have touched.

Dear Joyce and Family,

I was surprised and saddend to hear about Bob's passing. He was such a steadying influence throughout the years to me and my family. He was a wonderful Stake President, neighbor, and friend.

I always appreciated the hospitality he showed when Mitch would invite me to your home to be soundly defeated on your tennis court. He was so supportive during my impressionable teenage years, on my mission, and into my adult life as he supported my family during...

Dear Joyce & Family,
I heard from my brother Steve Gustaveson about the death of Bishop Rice....I have many memories of him as our Bishop back in the Holladay 16th Ward on Fortuna Drive....reading his obituary I learned even more about him and his accomplishments...but what I remember most is his meek, and humble manner, a true disciple of Christ.
Sharyl Gustaveson Olson

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Joyce and family. Our thoughts are with you.

I never knew Uncle Bob that well but what I did know made me love and respect him to the highest degree. Uncle Bob sorry I wasn't at your funeral. I hope the family is well. You will be greatly missed. Love you very much.

TO The Rice Family,
My mother and I are so sorry to hear about Bishop Rice passing,I remember as a child growing up on Brockbank and Robert being the Bishop for the Holladay 16th Ward.My mother has a Ward Directory from way back then where all the families in the ward had their picture taken and put in this book,we have looked at the book just recently commenting how we all looked back then. He was a great Bishop.
Our hearts and prayers go out to you at this time.

Dear Joyce,
Please know of our heartfelt sympathy at Bob's passing. Ila and I, along with our family, have so many great memories of him and the special way he had of making everyone feel important. He never failed to walk to the stand after Sacrament Meeting and tell the speakers how much he enjoyed their message. We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to share your friendship while living in the Mt. Olympus 2nd Ward, and also to have had such a wonderful man as our Stake...

Dear Rice Family -
We wish to express our sincere sympathy to you and gratitude for Pres. Rice and his amazing life. Truly it is an honor to know and to have grown up with your family. You all are and always will be heroes to me. I think of Pres. Rice and hear his voice when I hear myself say to my kids or students that "I'm just so thrilled." He always went out of his way to talk to me back in the Mt. Olympus 2nd ward days, even though he was the busy Stake President, and Sister...
