Robert Ricketson

Mr. Ricketson was our principal during his time in North Carolina. He was a great leader to work under and a big supporter of my professional pursuits both inside and outside the classroom. Very shocked and saddened by the news of his passing.
My heart goes out to his family during this time, as well as my thoughts and prayers.

I am still reeling from the news of Robert Ricketson's death. When I walked into school to pick up the kids I heard the news and instantly felt the emptiness. I wanted to go to Austin and Brooke and try to lend my support. I can't imagine what you all must endure saying a final goodbye to your father and your grandfather (husband, father, friend). So sorry to hear of Rob's passing. Funny to call him Rob. I remember him as Robbie Ricketsons. We went to Huff school together. I remember his smile and his kind and gentle spirit. Even as a little kid, he always was all about his little sisters! Sorry for the loss of your Dad too!

I graduated with Rob from Creston High School in 1984. Alrhough we weren't close, I remember him being a genuine, caring person.
