RIGSBY, Robert "Bob" W. Jr., 60, of Henrico, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Deborah J. Rigsby; He is survived by his spouse of two years, Wanda E. Rigsby and her son, Wesley, his wife, Ame and their children, Madison and Kaylee, and her daughter, Michelle, his brother, Wayne Johnson and his friend, Bob Adams, his son, Robert W. Rigsby III, his wife, Bonnie, and their children, Hunter, Lindsey, Logan and Garrett. He was affectionately known as "Bob" or "Bobby" to his friends. With over 30 years of employment with Auto Paint Supply, Bob was passionate in his love for cars, especially the classics. He could quickly spot the make and model and always had a great story to share about that particular year. He loved history, was a talented artist and was known for his impeccable taste, affinity for watches and a quick witted sense of humor that sparked laughter in the music of our souls. His proudest gift was his son, Robbie. Bob will be remembered as a proud father, with a never-ending presence on the sidelines of his son's ballgames. His gifts and passions have carried through the generations as a cherished part of his legacy. He will be greatly missed by all those who love him, but will live forever in peace. May Bob's special journeys in Heaven include continuous cruise-ins in the classic cars he loved. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, where services will be held at 7 p.m. Interment is private. His car family and friends are encouraged to "cruise-in" to the funeral service to honor his lifetime passion.

Not sure what to say?

Robbie, I just found out about your Dad yesterday up at Brunetti's. They announced it. I am very sorry for your loss. I know you guys were very close. God be with you and your family.

Robbie,
Haven't seen you in years but saw your day almost every weekend with the old cars. He was such a sweet person. I know you will miss him. But just know he is with the Lord now and he is well and happy looking down at us. We will have the old cars at the funeral home tonight. May God be with all of you. To the Riggsby Family our prayers and blessing are with you during the lost of your loved one. Deborah worked here @ Bank of America with many of us. We all knew Bob, Robbie Linsdey and Logan as they were love of Deborah's life, there were only 2 granchildren @ that time.May the Blessing of the lord be with each of you.

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with the Rigsby Family. I will always remember the great times we had together over the last 39 years.

Wanda.... I was so sad to hear about the passing of Bob. I never met him but from the things you have said, he sounded like a super person. Please know that I am thinking of you and Bob's family and I pray that your grief can be softened by the good memories of Bob.
In Christian Love,
