"Boss Man" you gave me my first job out of veterinary school. You showed patience to a new graduate just starting out. You created a family environment of support and teaching and provided lessons that I carry with me to this day. Although twenty years have passed I remember the cases we tackled together, the orthopedic surgeries you guided me through and lunch time conversations and everything in between. I am forever in your debt and will miss you my friend. Rest easy.

I am one of Robert's big sisters at Art Exposure in Hampstead, NC. We older female artists there encouraged Rob in his artistic endeavors and really cared for him like a little brother. We all will miss him greatly and we know that his soul is at rest.
