I discovered Bob's passing today when my Christmas card to him was returned. I am so sorry! When I was 2 and Bob was 7, my parents rented the garage apartment - in 1943. For four years, he was my patient "older brother," teaching me about leaves and plants and Prince, the dog. Mr. R nicknamed me Linda Bananas, a name Bob used when I visited him in January 2014. Our families were lifelong friends, sharing holiday dinners and gifts through my childhood, and when my mother was old and living...

I met Bob in early 70's when I rented garage apt. from his parents. What a wonderful family. Those were the best times living in Coral Gables...the Rimoldi's were so involved with ecology/conservation, etc. Bob was the nicest guy. We played lots of tennis together. Many great memories of Bob and his family.

Bob and I knew each other for 10 years and were married for 5. My family thought alot of him.
Bob was a kind hearted man. His love and compassion for animals grew. He found homes for many of them, including his own.
He was a dedicated Pilot for Delta AirLines.We took many trips together especially Maine, where he had a cabin on Georges Pond, Frankin,Maine.He loved working with his hands, building and fixing things around the homes and helping friends.

We are very sorry to hear this news. we lived across from him for years. we loved how he cared, protected, feed and rescued all animals. he was a kind , gentle, man. he will be missed.

To Bob's Survivors:
I was an Air Force roommate of Bob during our helicopter training at Randolph AFB, Texas. He was a most pleasant person that, unfortunately, I did not get to spend any time with or see during our Delta Air Lines career. I am sure there are many who found good pets through Bob's love for and work with dogs and cats in the Miami area. My sympathy goes out to you over the notice of his passing.
