Captain Ring was a man I'll remember in so many different ways - he taught us all bike safety and was a familiar voice on the radio all the time when I was a child. He became "Bill's dad" to me when I was in high school, "Faith's father-in-law" after college, a respected "friend of Allentown" during my professional career and ultimately a friendly face at the neighborhood pool and the city's health fair. Always, everywhere, to everyone he was a friendly hug or handshake and the kind of person...

My Uncle Bob and the entire Ring Family hold so many of my fondest memories. Growing up, our families were together so often. Uncle Bob always was involved with us kids. Teaching us about his pigeons, holding cookouts and picnics, taking all of us for ice cream, playing family softball games, offering big hugs and always letting you climb onto his lap. I am so sorry for your sudden loss. Julie and Kevin and all of you - I just want to say I am here for you and having lost my husband just over a year ago - I no the sadness you feel now. Hopefully as time moves on you will begin to remember the joy and laughter of having him in your lives. My prayers and heartstrings are with you.
