Not sure what to say?

Rob baptized me when we were students working together in a microbiology research lab. We used to backpack in the Gila Wilderness. His example as a quiet, humble but meticulous person inspired me greatly. I just now learned of his death, and I’m sorry I wasn’t able to say goodbye. I’m certain he left a great legacy.

I just found out about Dr Rivera's passing and am so sadden. He performed ICL surgery on me in 2012 and I have been so grateful for the gift of sight he has provided and have spoken of his skill and professionalism ever since. My deepest condolences to the entire family and his friends.

I was really sad to read about Dr. Rivera passing. I searched for him online to thank him for the many years of good vision since he performed my ICL surgery, but found this site. He was a great doctor, best in the country for ICL's, and a very caring person.

He was my eye doctor and was the best. Aloha.

sorrowful news. saw his 2007 video last night. par excellance. please keep you eyes open for the populace thankyou for your short visit. you made a great difference in all lives you touched

Nicest man and great surgeon. Gave me a crystal lens so I could keep doing surgery here in arizona

My heart sank when I found Dr. Rivera's obituary. To Dr. Rivera's family, my deepest sympathy. Suzanne, I am so sorry for your loss you have a beautiful family.

My sister from Las Cruces NM called me to inform me of Robert's passing.
I was startled to know that he was in Slc.
I was raised with him in Lordsburg, N.M.
Sure wish I could turn back the hands of time to
touch base with him.
He was a first class act. I am sure going to miss him.

I have missed you my champion since you left Flagstaff to go on to bigger and better things. I know God put you in Flagstaff to help me deal with what could have been a devestating eye condition. God has really big plans for you now but we miss you. Wishing peace to Suzanne, kids, family and friends.
