RIZZO, ROBERT G., of Boca Raton , Florida and Jamestown, RI, passed away Thursday May 22, 2014 in Boca Raton. He was the beloved husband of Donna (Scarpetti) Rizzo for 41 years. Born in Providence a son of Rita (Costigan) Rizzo and the late Guy Rizzo. Besides his wife he is survived by his proud sons Robert and Todd Rizzo and cherished grandson Kaden Robert Rizzo. Besides his love of cars, he enjoyed boating, golfing and traveling with his wife, Donna. Bobby made friends everywhere he went; he was fun-loving, honest and caring. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. He is also survived by his brother Paul Rizzo. In 1994, Bob was Founder and Chairman of the Right Charitable Foundation, along with seven business friends. The foundation has distributed money to many charities through the years. Mr. Rizzo was Chairman of the New England Ford Dealers for many years, a member of the Rhode Island Automobile Dealers Association, served on the Advisory Board at Ford Motor Co, and served on the Board of Trustees at Roger Williams University. He was a former member of Quidnessett Country Club, Carnegie Abbey and Royal Palm Yacht and Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Bob took an early interest in the automobile industry. His personality and excellent business skills enabled him to own a successful Ford dealership in Rhode Island for over 30 years. In addition to Rhode Island, he opened several dealerships throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Rizzo received numerous awards and accolades ranging from customer service to philanthropic causes. His funeral was held in Florida, where he was laid to rest at The Boca Raton Mausoleum, May 27th, 2014. The family has invited their relatives and friends to attend a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 65 3rd Street, East Greenwich, Saturday June 14 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Right Charitable Foundation P.O.
