Robert R. "Red" Robinson

So sorry to read about Red's death. I went to high school with Red and played on the football team with him. I fondly remember him as President of our class.

I remember Dad's stories about how Red took interest in a young man and brought him up in his business. The Winans family would not be where it is today without Red's encouragement and support. We are sorry to hear of his passing. He will be greatly missed.

"Red" is a man that my family will never forget. He was warm, kind and he and Pauline made you feel comfortable when around them. My kids grew up at the beachhouse and we will always have fond memories of our lives being touched by the Robinson's. Thank you Red, say Hi to Jesus for me.

Some men pray to God for blessings. Red, however, was a god among men. He spent his entire life reaching out, touching and blessing the lives of countless men, women and children, my family included.

Thank you Red for such impactful memories in my life. Saddened to hear this news, but what a life! One could only hope to model after your life! May you rest in peace and God bless!!!

Thanks Red for always making me and my family welcome at your home! I will always remember playing 6 man volleyball with you and that nasty under hand serve! It will never be the same in the summer time without him there!

Carlsbad has lost a huge part of its community. Red was one of the kindest and giving person I know. He and his family has always been there for my family -- In Good times and tough. My Heart and thoughts go out to Pauline and the rest of the Family. God Bless!

Red was a good friend, a peaceful, strong, giving person. He was like a second father to me, and I will truly miss him.
