I had been friends with Robert for at least 35 years or so. We used to work together. I used to go to Robert and Susan's house for dinner on many holidays, as well as non-holidays. I always enjoyed spending time with them. Robert was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to basketball. He could answer any question you had about just about any sport. Very impressive! He was a good, kind-hearted man. I will really miss him. RIP, my friend.

Robert was a long time member of the Getaway Sams RVing group. He enjoyed games, even though none of us were smart enough to play trivia games with him. He and Susan also helped with many of our volunteer efforts, particularly volunteering at the VA Hospital in Lake City. We will miss seeing him around the campfire. RIP, Robert.
