Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Rohe family and to Mrs. Rohe, one of my teachers from 6th grade. Mr. Rohe was a legend in GTMO and we all have fond memories of the whole family at WT Sampson. I was lucky enough to live across the street for several years at Caravella Point and will always remember him.

My Former husband (Jim Jackson) and I were so lucky to have been assigned to teach in Stuttgart, Germany. It was there that we met Bob and Kathy. If I remember correctly, we taught school together for only one year, but oh what a year that was. Bob and Kathy introduced us to Europe from the best restaurants to skiing in the Austrian Alps. Bob and Jim hit it off right away as they shared a love of nature and the great outdoors, especially fishing. It was a wonderful experience for us...

Bob and John Klosterman - cousins and life-long friends.

Bob was someone I always admired. My Mom (his cousin) also loved him and respected him so much. I enjoyed hearing his stories and was always amazed at the numerous adventures he had had in his life. It seemed like every time we spoke I learned something new he was accomplished in. He was humble and kind with a rye wit, and I know he will be missed every day by so many. My heart goes out to his closest family. Love to you all!

Bob was not only my cousin, but also one of the best friends I had in my life. Over the years I learned a lot from Bob as we sort of grew up together in many ways, even though we spent a lot of time apart. I always admired him as I tried to equal his hunting and fishing skills, as well as his courage, bravery and common sense, thinking more than once that he may have rescue me. I miss him a lot as various memories of our adventures and lives pass through my mind.

Bob was the best host, not only on many occasions at his and Kathy's home in Wilsonville, just a few miles from us, but also when we were their guests when they lived in Hanau. Bob was a perfect tour guide in Hanau, driving us around to all sorts of wonderful sights and great restaurants, and patiently answering our many questions like the teacher he was. Thanks to Bob and Kathy we learned so much about the German culture and our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer. We miss...
