Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful husband and father. He will be missed by many in the Kansas City area and in Buckeye, Arizona. Love, Cindy and JD Campbell

My fond memories of Bob go back to my Starlight board tenure when Jack Steadman was the Chairman. Bob was always ready when he was challenged by Jack or any board member. Making the outdoor theater was not an easy task and Bob made it look incredibly easy. Maybe you have heard the phrase, "like hearding cats"? Bob we will miss you always.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. We treasure Bob's friendship for over 40+ years.

As Bob´s doppelgänger, it was quite an honor to be addressed as "how are you doing, Bob?" Or "Bob, what are you doing here?" everywhere from Scout meetings, to Starlight, to the KCMO Parks and Rec offices, to the grocery store. We had such fun being brothers from another mother. Feels like part of me is gone. Miss you brother, Paul Bertrand.

Lisa (and family): Bob was a good golfing and poker friend at Verrado. We had a connection right away because I was also in Kansas City during the 1990's and early 2000's. God's blessing and my prayers to you all during this difficult time.

Dear Lisa, my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. What a beautiful life and love you two shared. Prayers with you and Bob's children.

Bob was a unique and delightful individual. We will miss his wit and humor! RIP Bob.

I'm friends with Bob's daughter Sherri since age 12....Bob was the coolest dad! He gave me my first real job with a W-2 at Starlight! He showed me how to fill out a job application, negotiate a salary, and fill out a W-4. He also taught me how to change a tire and pitch a tent. He was so funny and cool, and he definitely had that twinkle in his eye. See ya on the other side of the mountain, Back Roads Bob. Much love to all the family. Kathy (Wimpey) Pendleton Kansas City, MO
