Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Rook Family in their time of grief. I met Bob in 2005 and my first thought was that he was the best Deacon I had ever seen. Later that day he introduced himself. He made me feel welcome at St.Gabriel even though I had just arrived to attend RCIA. Later I met Rita, and Mike. Before mass I would go up to the front and speak to the Rooks. Rita always gave me a hug and Bob would always shake my hand and give me a big smile. Bob told me stories about his travels and his...

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Bob gave communion to my mom and dad for years and was always so kind and fun to talk to. He is admired by all that knew him.

Your father was a great man, he brought communion to my Mom so many times. She loved him dearly. Always remember when someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's death. I have worked at St. Gabriel Parish for about 8 years & have come to know & love Bob. I enjoyed talking to him & hearing his stories about camping & such. Bob did so much for St. Gabriel & he will be missed very much. I will keep you all in my prayers. I'm sure he's in heaven with Rita & setting up for Mass & ordering whatever they need!

Sincerely,

Susan,

I was very saddened to hear about your father's death. The last time I saw him, he was honoring my father's passing and I will never forget that. You and your family are in my prayers.

Love,

Angie

To The Rook Family I am so sorry to learn of your father's death, he was a great man and will be sorely missed by the St. Gabriel community. He always came at Christmas Time when my Mom Mary Ford was living and brought her a basket from the children at school.

Peggy, Susan & Jim:

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He was an awesome man that truly exemplified what Christianity is really about...He loved God and he loved people!

You can be sure that he is in Heaven with your mom, sitting at the feet of Jesus!

Take comfort in knowing that you will see him again and that he will be whispering in Christ's ear to keep you all safe!

You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
