Not sure what to say?

I was chocked to see that Robert had passed away last year. Robert and I met when we both were in our teens, in Tokyo Japan as both our parents worked there at the time. I was actually Robert's first sweetheart and he was mine. Robert was the kindest person I've ever met and my deepest thaughts goes to his family.

Aaron,

Your dad was an Optometric All American, a model for all in our profession. He gave it all he could. We will miss his leadership.

My condolences go out to you and your family in his passing.
Sending prayers for comfort and peace.

Stephen Garrett

To the Rosenstein family, I am truly sorry for your loss and pray that god grants you patience and eases your suffering during this difficult time. Dr. Rosenstein was one of my clinical examiners when I received my NC license many years ago. Genuine, humble and professional, he offered sincere advice and was always willing to help others. I and my fellow optometrists will miss him dearly.

Dr. Rosenstein was a tremendous example of a true professional. He will be missed by his colleagues. His contributions to Optometry are legend.

Robert was truly a giant among OD’s here in NC. He will be sorely missed. I am glad Aaron is keeping the tradition going

Growing up in Durham, Robert and I were close friends. I was honored to attend his Bar Mitzvah. As often happens, we lost touch after high school but reconnected through our classmate dinners. I will miss his wit and positive outlook in the face of illness. Blessings, my friend.

So very sorry to hear of Robert’s passing. I have known him since our days at Durham High School and consider him a friend. He will be missed.
