Not sure what to say?

Shirley, I know you are sad but so thankful Bob knew Jesus as his savior. He has gone home. He has joy and you have hope that you will see him again.

I always considered Bob as my brother. He was already living with our parents when I was born in January 1946! While he was 5 years older we enjoyed a great time growing up! Whether we were boxing, playing catch, or softball with Karen we had hours of fun. Many, many fond memories! Bob was always a great brother!

Shirley I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.

I always considered Bob as my brother, and his sister Karen as my sister. After all they were there before I was born! I mean really there living as family when I arrived! Bob and I had great times together playing cowboys and Indians. We also played catch. And had a great time messing up our garage door throwing pocket knives at it.
Bob was Catholic growing up, and we served Mass together several times. Being older he helped train me how to serve. He had lots of friends who...

I knew Bob for only a few years at church, put have more than a few good memories of him.

Hi, Dad,
I love you and miss you. I want to thank you for your ever-present example of living a life of service to God and to others. Thank you for your kindness, patience, and love. Your demonstration of true resilience will continue to carry me through the tough times and your examples of gratitude and joy have shown me what it means to shine the love of Jesus.
A number of years ago, I remember you telling me a story after you'd returned from a bike ride. You said that during...

Wendell and I have many good memories of Bob over the years. One memory that stands out for me and will never be forgotten is when our son was killed in an accident in 1996. Bob and Shirley came to our aid immediately and Bob spent hours helping Wendell sort through photos of our son to put on boards for the funeral. He and his wife, Shirley, have been really genuine and caring friends. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family. May God grant an extra measure of His grace,...

Dear Shirley,
Im so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I remember him as such a kind and gentle man and the two of you were such an amazing couple. My heart and my prayers go out to you during a time of such great loss.

We are so grateful to know Bob & Shirley through Cascade Christian Church. We loved getting to know Bob on the golf league many years ago. He was truly one of the kindest people weve known. About a month ago Bob spoke with me after church about my recent battle with cancer. He asked how I was doing and told me to fight hard and live strong, its not an easy ride, but we can do this. I loved his confidence and he made sure I knew I was not alone in the fight. Always a sweet smile and then a...
