Bob was a simple and proud man. He liked his home and yard neat and did his best to keep it that way even with his poor health. He liked to pay his bills the day they came to get them out of the way.

The last ten years of his life he was not able to drive or even walk without a walker, but he never complained or burdened anyone with his problems. If you visited, he was happy to see you and enjoyed your visit. His main pleasure in life was watching TV (mostly sports) and eating...

My Dad had the love of the game..he rarely missed listening or watching a game.When we were kids we always went at least once a year to a game....the night he died ..even though the hospital did not provide the Indains game on tv..??? I played it on the radio in the ninth they tied and won it ...thanks for that...He tried out for the Indains as a kid..and Hit a home run against the world famous King and His court..the King struck out players like Willie Mays, Harmon Kilabrew ect...My dad...
