Bob was a humble man of service. He always gave constructive advice, and always had a smile on his face. He and Larry Thomason spent the better part of a day in 1979 showing me around Danville. I was a new hire coming from Paris, IL. I always appreciated their efforts to acquaint me with Danville and put the "new guy" at ease about the new job. Bob and Larry continued to mentor me while I was in Detectives. I know you're walking the streets of gold in God's Kingdom of Heaven, Bob....
