Visitation will be Monday, July 24, 2017 at 9:00 am at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria, 701 Jackson St., followed by a graveside service at 10:00 am at Greenwood Memorial Park, 2202 Military Hwy, Pineville.
Robert was born September 14, 1954 and passed away on July 20, 2017 after a long illness.
He was a graduate of Holy Savior Menard Central High School in 1972 where he lettered in football. Thereafter, he graduated from Central Louisiana Technical Community College where he completed the Carpentry Program. He retired from the State of Louisiana Department of Agriculture where he worked for 25 years across the state of Louisiana as a Master Carpenter/Cabinet Maker. During his retirement, he bred and trained Labrador retrievers. He loved his dogs.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, Virginia Vogelsang Rozanski and his father, Stanley Anthony Rozanski.
He is survived by his brother, Richard (Helen) Rozanski and sister, Susan (Henry) Fischer and nieces and nephew, Lilli, Grace and Virginia Rozanski and Melanie and Chip Fischer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert’s name to The National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana, 8200 Hampson St. # 425, New Orleans, LA 70118, (504) 861-4500.
