Here is his pic from the wall at phi tau

So sorry to hear of this. He and I were roommates our first year at ECU. As it happens, I was at the phi tau house today to prepare for a weekend show there. I came across his picture on the wall, and figured I would reach out. That's when I found this obit. He was always the guy who could make you laugh and feel better no matter what crap life threw at you. He could inspire you to do more with your life. He had a poster on his wall that read. "I hesitated and the world passed me by". He...

Love and hugs to you, Jeanne and your whole family. I know Bobby was one in a million and the world was a better place with him living among us. Many Prayers to all of you and wishing you loving peaceful memories during this difficult time.

Great times with my best friend & my best man. I miss you more than words can say.

I remember Played Babe Ruth baseball with him

Jeanne, Robert, Scott, and Paige, we have no words for our sorrow at hearing of Bobby´s passing. Bobby had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone and was an incredible role model for all the young people he coached. May you find solace in the love and friendship of those surrounding you and in your memories of an amazing husband and father. Love from the Martinez Family

Dear Paige, Scott, Robert, and Jeanne, I am so very, very sorry. Bobby was a wonderful man, and I know his passing leaves such an incredible void. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, as I know you are in those of all your many family and friends. May you find solace in that, and in his life, a life well lived. Much love, Sam

I am so sad to hear about the passing of Bobby Rucks. He was a friend for over 30 years. Bobby was an amazing individual full of life with deep compassion and energy in everything he set out to do especially helping others. I will miss Bobby most for his `upbeat attitude´ telling myself and many others he touched when life had you down to `´Control the controllable´´ and ``´No worries.´´ He just made you feel better with those words of wisdom. I only wish more people had met Bobby Rucks...

I remember growing up with Jeanne and meeting Bobby when they met in college. I remember the day you were they were married. I saw their family grow over the years. I am so sorry he is gone. Bobby was a genuine man and agreat example on how to live your life. Love you Jeanne.
