West St. School in Granby is where I landed when my family moved to town. A new & strange adventure. One of those scary first day afternoons I missed the school bus. When I went out the door the yard was empty! What to do now? I sat down on the steps & started to cry, what else? There was a little boy playing by himself in the school yard. He noticed me & came over. He asked what I was crying about. I said I didn´t know how to get home. He said "don´t cry, you can come home with me, my Mom...

A heartfelt thank you for your service to our country. Rest in peace.

Ruth , Sympathy In your loss of your husband. Prayers and thoughts for you and your family Peter and Patty

Bobby and Ruth are wonderful people... Bobby as we called him, lived next door...Even though he was a lot older than we were, He was always kind and good to us. He always took an interest in what we were doing... An amazingly good, kind person!!! When he married Ruth she also was right in step with him.. I have thought of him often even though I live a long ways away.. His family were very wonderful neighbors and good friends..

Our sincere condolences to you Ruth and family on the passing of Bob. Wish were there for the service. Love Karen and Butch

My condolences to the Ruel family. Although I graduated after Bob from South Hadley High School I vividly remember him for the sociable, nice and friendly guy he was. I am sure all who knew him saw him the same. May God rest his soul.

Bob was an incredible man and a good friend to so many people. He was my go-to person for antiquarian Granby history. Our town has lost an honorable man. May he rest in peace.

Not only was Bob a friend to most of Granby and surrounding towns, but he was a good friend to all my family during his life in Granby. His life was well lived and my sympathies to his wife Ruth and family. Another Angel has entered heaven.
