Robert Ruffo Obituary
Harpursville - Robert Nicholas Ruffo, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 23, 2021. He is predeceased by his father Thomas, Sr. and brother Andrew. He is survived by his mother Jeanne, his son Dante who was his pride and joy; his longtime companion Teresa Schermerhorn; siblings Thomas, Jr. (April), Michelle. Jonathon (Susan) and Mary (Paul). His nephews and nieces, Michael (Lindsey), Nicholas, Lauren, Dylan, Zachary and Vivianna; great nieces Madison and Hannah; special family friends Linda & Bret and his beloved kitters and Duke.
Rob was a kind and gentle soul. He left a lasting impression on everyone's life he touched. He loved everyone and always had a smile, hug or handshake when he saw you. Funny, charismatic, he lived life on his terms and definitely did it his way. Rob had a deep love for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, the outdoors, music, art and people.
Rob was one of the most talented chefs in all of Broome County. From his start as a teenager at Grande Pizzeria and Giovani's to his families restaurants and Amici's he spread his love through his food.
And Yes, the secret ingredient is LOVE.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Friday, May 28, 2021, 2pm at Chenango Valley Cemetery, 120 Nolan Road, Binghamton, NY.

Robert was one of the 1st friends I made in Chenango Bridge & was nice enough to ride me around on his bicycle. I haven't seen him since our early 20s. We always had fun adventures!
