Robert J. Running "Bob"

RUNNING, Robert J. “Bob”– Of Flint, age 63, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Hurley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettle officiating.

Cremation will take place following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

Visitation 12 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the time of service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bob was born on March 21, 1956 in Flint, the son of Omer W. and Patricia (Grantham) Running.

On June 8, 1975, he married Lorie Jarvais in Flint and she preceded him in death on August 20, 2018.

Surviving are children, Jennifer (Bryan) Reif, Amanda (Michael Healy) Running;

grandchildren, Michael and Madalyn Reif, and Aubrey Parker;

his mother, Patricia Ann Running;

sisters, Mary Marshall and Linda (Roger) Nickerson; brother, Bill (Janice) Running;

many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also preceded in death by his father.
