Robert E. Russell

I met his parents in his dorm room at Albion, celebrating his 19th birthday.I later saw them at their home in Flushing, very caring folks, a trait that was continued by their son. He was the nicest caring person that I knew.

Bob, The years have passed.., our hearts and minds still talk to you so often! What would Bob do? How would Bob handle this? We MISS your SMILES!! Your waves when someone was leaving your home... those hugs Goodbye. We HOPE you are using your carpentry skills up! I have to tell you, Your RIGHT! Tennessee in winter is TOO COLD for a travel trailer! LOVE You! NEVER stop thinking about YOU!

To My Dear Friend Robert. Things are not quite the same and I wish that you would have not left us so soon. It is not just me but all of your loving friends. We became the best of friends having done so many things together. Cruses, dances, concerts and lots of great dinners just to name a few. Of course all were enjoyed with our respective mates. We have had so many good times together. You are and have been a great friend. Robert, you are dearly missed. Bob H.

Bob became a family friend a few years ago. And by that, I mean his warmth made Sunshine and I feel like family. We felt an immediate connection as we shared our initial greetings all the way through the straight talks while fixing the worlds problems over supper. Many laughs and good times are fondly remembered with Bob and sadly, will be sorely missed. God blessed you Bob and may He rest your soul.

The memories of Bob Russell are such good ones. His kindness and sense of humor--and appreciation for those who had a sense of humor--- will always be remembered. We had wonderful times with Bob---much sympathy to his family!

I had the privilege of working with Bob at Slauson and Huron High. Patient, organized and kind, they just don't come better than Bob Russell.

Bob was one of Huron High School's best. When you are as nice and as honorable a professional as Bob was, you do a lot of good and help a lot of kids. And that's exactly what Bob did everyday for his River Rats.
