Dear Mrs. Rydman and family:

I was truly sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Rydman. He was my first boss, and I couldn't have been a luckier employee. I will never forget his kindness and his sense of humor. My heartfelt condolences to your family.

To the family of Robert Rydman:

It is with deepest regret that I learned of Bob's passing. My connection with Bob goes back to his years as a student at the UIC SPH and continued until my retirement in 2001. My last communication from him was a very kind message wishing me well in my retirement. With sincere sympathy, Maggie Stanton
