Not sure what to say?

I remember Bob (and Peg) from my high school days in the 1960's when they were the advisors for the Liberal Religious Youth group at the UU Society of Greater Springfield, of which I was a member. He and Peg were wonderful advisors, and participating in this group was one of the most important experiences of my life, thanks to their influence. I managed to keep in touch with them when they were living in Pocasset, but, unfortunately, I lost touch with them after that. I am saddened to know...

A world without Bob Sabin is a lesser place. When I look back 40 years ago and think about all the grief I gave him and how well he handled it, I realize now that he was one of those wonderful people who cared about others and who we would become. I learned to be better person because of Bob. I could not have been as successful in life without Bob´s guidance. Love you, Bob...

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

There are only a few people in my life that I can think of who gave so much of themselves to better the lives of others and asked nothing in return. Bob Sabin is one of those people. The Bob Sabin I know was a mentor, a professional, a family man and a friend. Bob always did the right thing even if unpopular, got the job done and had an immeasurable positive impact on my life and time as a FireFighter. Rest in peace Bob.

Bob was an all-around good guy. I was one of several call fighters all in our early 20's that worked under him. Bob was probably 25 years older than us. We all thought we knew more than we really did then. Now, looking back 40 years we can fully appreciate his dedication, work ethic and genuine care and compassion for us. How fortunate we were to have him as our officer at the beginning of our Fire Service careers. Andy Fraser, Captain L.F.D (Ret)

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
