Dr. Robert Sagerman

It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of my friend and colleague Dr. Robert H. Sagermann. I met Bob professionally in the 1980s. Very quickly, a very personal relationship developed that included his wife Malyne and his four sons. I came across Dr Sagerman´s obituary as I was looking for him to request my medical records. He treated me in 1993, when I was only 21 in college with $ Hodgkins. I am so sorry to hear he has passed away. I had the fondest memories of him. What a wonderful man that truly cared about his patients.

My deepest and heartfelt sympathy goes to you, Malyne and your family. Bob was indeed a pioneer, and a wonderful Radiation Oncologist. He taught me a lot for which I am forever grateful. I am very sad to hear of his passing.

To Bobby´s wife and family i send my condolences. As a younger cousin, he was always Bobby to me. I remember my admiration of him, knowing how special a man and physician he was. Bob was a superb radiation oncologist, and a fine gentleman and friend. A life well lived....

I am saddened to hear of his passing. His memory lives on through the many he trained in radiation oncology.

Very sad news. Dr Bob loved life, his dear wife and family. He is a legend among his peers and all of the young doctors he helped to educate. So many patients benefited from his great expertise most especially children. Bob stood out for his great knowledge and integrity. Doctors all around the nation reached out to him for advice. I have often thought about Dr Sagerman and family over the years. He was a caring and compassionate doctor and I will always cherish the years I worked for him at Upstate in Syracuse. My heart is saddened by his passing.
