Not sure what to say?

My Deepest Sympathys to the Sakata Family. I accidently met Mr. Sakata, I did not know him.He was kind and easy to talk to. We had a nice talk after I explained I knew the Sakatas from Watsonville Calif which he was related to.If I did not have to leave think we could talk a long time My Condolences

Bob Sakata was a mentor, friend, employer, and teacher to me. Bob and Joanna provided an opportunity that allowed me to attend and complete college, and start a family and a career. Most importantly, Bob provided life skills through modeling hard work, creativity, humor, community pride, family values, wit and faith. He was one of the most intelligent people I have known. I will always be indebted to the Sakata family.

Bob and Harry farmed our land south of Sable in the early 50s. I have memories and a few pictures to share if you are interested. Call 303-451-7834. I loved them both.

Bob and Harry farmed our farm on Sable south of Brighton in the early 50s. I recall going to the hospital to see him when he was in the terrible accident. I could share a lot of memories and have a few pictures. If you are interested call me at 303-451-7834. I loved them both. Cleo VanDerWege Linstrom

My condolences

Bob Sakata was a special friend and colleague. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He was a great farmer and family man. To Joanna and children, Robert, Vicki and Lani and to all of the family are thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. Kirvin Knox

A role model of Christian love and charity with the ability to meet presidents, emporers and kings, Robert Sakata cold also influence young farmers, ministers and students treating all with the same respect and value. He was a mentor and friend providing wise counsel and prayer for those who approached him. He and his wife helped guide me into my senior years with words but also by their actions. Bob was one of the best men the Lord put into my life for a season and I shall never forget...

The Sakata family will be in our thoughts and prayers. Bob was a wonderful person whom my family admired greatly. We are lucky that we could call him a friend! I will always treasure the memories I have of Bob.

My sincere condolences to Mr. Sakata´s family. I had the rare opportunity over the years to listen learn and appreciate his wit and wisdom A consummate gentleman
