Not sure what to say?

Dr Salata was the Jr resident during my internal medicine rotation at University Hospital at CWRU. He was a great teacher and an inspiration to pursue a career in IM. My condolences to his family. So sorry for your loss.

Prof. Bob Salata was my mentor when we worked on his NIH funded projects AACTG here in Africa. His HIV/AIDS research projects in Africa touched and saved millions of lives by improving access to ARVs

Bob was a mentor to me early in my career. Throughout the years he always kept in touch and provided encouragement and guidance. Bob´s legacy will live on through s the lives he touched, including mine.

RIP As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Bob and I became close colleagues during our work on behalf of AAIM. He was a great academic leader and I feel honored to have known him. My condolences go out to his family.

I worked with Bob for the past two years and got to know him as a caring and supportive leader. He will be greatly missed.

We will remember Bob as Diana Colaianni´s older brother. He was such a special man with God given gifts and talents. Love and prayers to all.

Bob was a friend, mentor, and a colleague. Since I arrived here at UH in 2017, he always checked for my well being, constantly and selflessly supported my work and always helped to remove obstacles. It was never about him but about UH, our programs, our patients, and our teams. I will miss our monthly meetings Bob! God Bless You!!
