Not sure what to say?

Bob Saltsman was my dearest and most faithful friend from our days at Mallinckrodt Grade School, 1942 to 1946 and Southwest High School, 1946 to 1950. At one time we were inseparable. Two other friends from those boyhood days were David Schulz and Louis Swallow.

We all maintained contact with each other during school reunions, Saint Mark's Episcopal Church Youth Group get togethers and at our last two day reunion at Greenfield Village in Detroit in 2014.We had a wonderful time...

Bob Saltsman was a great friend of mine since were classmates at Mallinckrodt Grade School in St. Louis in he 1940s. We served in the Boy Scouts of America and after graduating from Southwest High School we went our separate ways, but always kept in touch. We were both staunch Republicans and had some great phone calls about the other party and their shenanigans.

A few years ago, in the summer of 1914, four of us who had been friends since the 1940s planned a get together at the...

Steve, I'm truly sorry for your loss. Prayers to your family. Your dad was a great guy.

Ann and Family, This was a wonderful obituary and told the true story of your terrific husband, Bob. Such a dear man, so happy and pleasant to those he spent time with. He will be missed by us even though our visits weren't too often. You all as well as Bob are in our thoughts and prayers. Marilyn and Don Huber

Bob and I were friends from way back, starting with the youth choir at St Mark's Episcopal church in St Louis Hills MO., our St Mark's youth group , all through high school, and as fraternity brothers in Theta Xi. I am thankful for his friendship all these years and our get together with Ross Tucker and Dave Schulz 2 years ago. I am very sorry for his passing. I know his family will miss him. They do have a treasure of memories that will help through this time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Bob's sudden passing. It was only a few months ago when we had he and Ann out for dinner and a boat ride. Bob was one of the most up-beat people I've ever known. It didn't matter whether it was playing tennis with him 20 years ago, or discussing the Presidential election this Summer....he was always positive and enthusiastic. He will be sadly missed by those of us who shared life with him.

We so enjoyed Bob's friendship over the years. He was always fun, a good conversationalist, kind, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. We will miss him.

Sorry to see this Karen. Thoughts and prayers with you.

Bob was a true gentleman, always had a smile and was caring for others, I will miss seeing and talking with him every morning at Harvey Lexus, and when we would need to have bob drop items off for parts department bob was there to help every time. my nicknane for Bob was "Salty" You will always live in our hearts and prayers.
