Bob and I were classmates at Luzerne. Being small classes then, we all knew each other well. Through the years we planned reunions together and it was always a pleasure to be in his company. My heart is with all of you.

You are now relieved from your post. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. I´m so sorry to hear this. Gpop was such a wonderful friend and neighbor. He was my buddy. He would call to let me know if anything was happening in the neighborhood and we would chit chat for a bit.
