In Loving Memory of Robert Sanchez
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Sanchez, who left us on August 5, 2024, at the age of 43. Born on September 18, 1980, Robert was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and grandson, cherished by his family and friends.
Robert was the adored son of Yolanda G. Vega whom he loved with all his heart, and stepson of John Vega who devoted his time in taking care of Robert. He was the younger brother of Dora Sanchez, a bond that was marked by both camaraderie and deep affection. As Robert's spirit and warmth were evident in all he did. His presence in the lives of his relatives, nephew Angelo Hardey, grandmother Paula M. Gonzalez, and extended family—brought joy and light.
Educated at Robert E. Lee High School, Robert was known for his passion for drama shows, a love he carried throughout his life. Music and dancing were his lifelines, and he found immense joy in the rhythms and melodies that played through his days. Whether dancing alone or sharing a moment on the floor with loved ones, Robert's enthusiasm was infectious.
Robert's love for life, his vibrant personality, and his unyielding spirit will be deeply missed. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and the unforgettable memories he created with those he held dear.
Rosary will be Monday August 12th at 7:00pm at Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Chapel. A memorial service to celebrate Robert's life will be Tuesday, August 13th at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine where friends and family will gather to honor his memory and bid a heartfelt farewell. Arrangements were made with Lewallen-Garcia-Pipkin Funeral Home.
