Robert C. "Bob" Sanders

Sorry for your loss, Sanders family. I will always be thankful for everything Bob did for me. He was truly a great person. He will be missed.

I am going to miss you. I have been trying to find him over the years since my parents moved from Bridge, Oregon. I used to visit him and his family in Charleston, Oregon, when I would visit my grandparents, Bob and Lillian Nagle, who also lived in Charleston. They were all so nice to me and treated me as one of their family. He made me a promise one day when I was very upset about something and told me that if I ever needed any help or anything, that I was supposed to contact him. I guess...

Bob was a frequent lunch guest at my family's restaurant in Clatskanie when he owned Beaver Lumber. I loved visiting with him about his UO days. He loved the fact that his wife Jane and I were both members of PiBetaPhi and had been cheerleaders for the Ducks. When we needed a new library in Clatskanie Bob wrote a large check without hesitation. Such kindness and generosity!
May his memory be eternal.

I really enjoyed knowing and caring for Bob and Jane through the years. Sad to hear that Bob has passed on. I enjoyed talking about the Ducks at each visit with both of them. I am happy to give to Bob one last "Go Ducks"!
