Sandgren, Robert C. 87, of Robbinsdale. Graduated from Patrick Henry and North High School. Robert served in WWII in the Army Air Force. Following his release from the service, he worked as a plastering apprentice, then started and co-owned Drywall, Inc. Preceded in death by brother Donald; parents Arthur and Astrid Sandgren. He is survived by wife, Violet of 64 years; daughters, Roberta (Christopher) Hemley and Margaret (Peggy) Lekander; grandchildren, Valerie, Anna, Adrian, and Laura; brother Marvin Sandgren. Funeral service 10:30 am Friday, Dec. 19, at Elim Lutheran Church, 40th and W. Broadway, Robbinsdale, with visitation after 9:30. Interment Glen Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
