Sandstedt, Robert V., passed away, Thursday, February 9, 2023.


Beloved husband of the late Betty Louise Sandstedt (nee Krueger); loving father of Doug (Martha Ann) Sandstedt, Donna (Doug) Travis, Diane (Joe) Beckerle, and the late Debbie Sandstedt; dear grandfather of Lauren (Creighton) Gerlach, Alex (Brianne) Arnaiz, Kirstin, Nick, Ben and Taylor Beckerle; dear great-grandfather of Aiden, Addison, Austin and Aaron Arnaiz; brother of Carol (Russ) Kappesser and the late Bud (Sherry surviving) Sandstedt; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.


Robert was a very active member of St. John UCC Manchester, a member of Kirkwood Masonic Lodge, a proud U.S. Army veteran, and worked for forty-seven years at Ameren U.E.


Services: Funeral service at St. John United Church of Christ, 322 Old Sulphur Spring Rd., Manchester, MO., Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. Interment St. John United Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. and at the church Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. until time of service. I work at the nursing home Bob resided at. Bob was.well words that come to mind are selfless, gentle spirit, humorous, warm hearted, extremely friendly, a jokester, unique, one of a kind, a good man inside and out.
