Rob (Gork) was one of the best friends that I ever had. I knew him since I was a kid (14 years old) growing up in Ridley Park, PA. We always exchanged just great conversations, and great and fun times. Rob was extremely smart, and when you needed a friend, he was always there. Bob was one of my best friends growing up in Ridley Park. Bob and I were in the band at Ridley South Junior High and Ridley High School, graduating in the “Class of 81.” Bob played trombone and I played trumpet. Bob’s nickname was “GORK” because he was so much bigger and taller than the rest of us in middle school. Some of the best times with Bob would be when, after an evening band practice, we would stop at the Ridley Park 7-Eleven or Double Decker Pizza and get food and drinks. We...

I had the pleasure of working with Bob. He was a good guy and glad to have known him. I pray for his family that they may find peace and comfort during this time.
