Pastor Robert L. Sauser

On June 29, 1943 a baby boy was born to Harland and Leona Sauser in Rochester, Minnesota. Robert LeRoy was the first baby born to the young Pastor and his wife; there would be 3 others over the next 10 years; Mary, two years later, Don, five years later, and John, 10 years later. The young family spent a few years in Minnesota before moving to accept a ministry at the First Baptist Church in Silvis Illinois. Robert was very independent, even as a youngster.
