Robert Michael Schafer
June 6th, 1967 - March 15th, 2019

Also known well as, Bobby, Bob, Little Bob, Big Bob, ROBERT!, Uncle Bob, and DAD!

He had the sickest sense of humor, quickest wit, and was a gun shooting, Jack Daniels drinking, Harley driving, mean mugging, SOB.

He was truly one of a kind. A loyal and devoted friend, a beyond meticulous worker, a true dog whisperer, a mischievous and dearly loved son to Albert & Carol and brother to Beth (Rob), hilarious uncle to Natalie, Kathleen, & Richard, the goofiest dad to Anna & Nicole, and an immeasurable husband and partner to Sue.

All anyone wants to do is tell you we're so sorry. We are profoundly sad. We'll see you later & we love you.

Not sure what to say?

Bobby Schafer was ...., a really great friend! Although I moved away to the West Coast..., alot of my memorable moments between the age of 13-16 were spent hanging out with Bobby and Mike Eck. Riding our BMX bikes around Edgebrook, and blowing whatever money we had on video games at The Bunny Hutch?? OMG...! 1/4 mile racing down Caldwell..., asking Ron at 31 Flavors for a cup of Hot Fudge, in between our excursions on our bikes...! I cant divulge everything we did, but I can tell you that...

No words can express our utmost respect and heartfelt sympathy to Sue, Nicole, and Anna. Bob was an incredible kind, fun loving, and extraordinary person of integrity and heart. I-we are truly, truly speechless with an incredibly heavy heart for such a profound loss.

I'm sorry you left this world so young. My deepest sympathy to your parents & family. You will always be remembered. You & they will be in my prayers. Carol DiRenzo

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this sorrowful time.

Friends and old neighbors. Not sure how grandparent got in there. So sorry again.

Sue, we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. We were so shocked to hear this. We remember him being a kind soul. Sending thoughts and prayers.

My husband, John, and I met Bobby 25+ years ago when he worked for Al Leitzo. They learned that I make a very good pound cake, so I kept one on the kitchen counter whenever they were doing work at our house. Every day they would come in, sit at our kitchen table, drink coffee and eat cake for about an hour before starting work! He and Al were both good men and if I could, I would send them a cake today to have together! So sorry for your loss, we miss both of these kind men!

Sue, I am sorry for your loss. Bobby was such a great guy. Xx

Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time Nicole. ❤
