Not sure what to say?

We all miss Bob. He had a strong work ethic and a kind heart.

I owe Bob more than I could ever have repaid. He provided me a tremendous opportunity to change careers and helped me throughout the early stages. He was both Mentor and Friend. We are all richer for having known him and poorer at his loss.

I was deeply saddened to hear the news of Bob's passing. I have many fond memories of my childhood spent with the Schaninger's - many of my formative memories involve those times. I'm especially grateful for the happiness Bob brought my parents - especially my father, Jack Dalton.

I had the pleasure to work with Bob nicknamed "Ernie" by his Eastman Kodak, CESD friends for many years starting in 1977. Bob was a joy to know and a great friend in the business world. I have some wonderful memories that will stay with me forever. My deepest sympathy to his family as they deal with this loss.

Bob has been a special friend for 25 years. During those years we enjoyed special talks and moments both at work (Kodak), boating, playing golf and on vacations together with him, Edie and the children.
He played Santa Claus for my children at their school before he and Edie even had children. He wasn’t the best (his padding kept falling), but what an attitude to even attempt it. He obviously succeeded in the ruse, because my 2 children never knew it was him when until we told them...

My thoughts are with Bob's family during this difficult time. I will always fondly remember our lunches in Tempe.....you were always telling stories about your children with a grin from ear to ear....

I was lucky to have known you these past several years!

Dear Schaninger Family,

I remember sitting in Bob's office one day and he was telling me a story about his kids. He was so proud of you!

Your memories will always keep him with you.

God Bless

Bob was a wonderful friend and co-worker. During the 6 years that I knew him, I saw him grow personally and professionally. I will always remember him fondly.

Bob will truely be missed by us all.
